More than 460 companies will take part in ACMEE 2025, a major international exhibition for machine tools and industrial technology. The event will be held from June 19 to 23 at the Chennai Trade Centre.
Organised by the Ambattur Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association (AIEMA), the biennial expo will feature 468 exhibitors, including 120 international brands. The exhibition will be spread across eight halls.
Organisers expect over 35,000 visitors from India and nearby countries. They also estimate that the event will generate business deals worth around ₹750 crore during the five-day period.
Speaking to the media on Monday, ACMEE 2025 chairman P.S. Ramesh and AIEMA president R.S.S. Satish Babu said the event comes at a key moment for the manufacturing sector. “This is more than just an exhibition,” said Ramesh. “It’s a platform for entrepreneurs, MSMEs, and start-ups to explore global innovations and speed up their move towards smart manufacturing.”
The theme of this year’s event is ‘Beyond Smart Manufacturing’. The focus will be on advanced technologies like artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things (IoT). According to the organisers, these tools are changing traditional manufacturing by enabling real-time data use, higher precision, and smarter decision-making.
