A new modular data centre aims to transform edge computing by combining speed, scalability, and sustainability to support the next phase of digital innovation.
The project is a collaboration between Siemens Smart Infrastructure, Cadolto DataCenter GmbH, and Legrand Data Center Solutions. Together, they have developed an all-in-one modular data centre designed as a turnkey solution that integrates sustainable technology with advanced performance.
Siemens serves as the exclusive technology partner for the project. It provides and integrates energy management and building automation systems, along with flexible financing options.
The data centre is designed to meet changing IT needs, ranging from basic processing to advanced, high-performance AI applications.

Focusing on Sustainable Infrastructure
Siemens is deploying its full range of Smart Infrastructure technologies. These include power distribution, building automation, fire safety, and security systems. The goal is to transform infrastructure quickly and at scale to support collaborative ecosystems and speed up customers’ digital progress.
Cadolto DataCenter acts as the manufacturer and general contractor. It supplies the prefabricated modular buildings and integrates climate control systems.
Legrand Data Center Solutions contributes its expertise in IT infrastructure. Its offerings include racks, structured cabling, intelligent Power Distribution Units (PDUs), and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
The companies say these fully equipped, energy-efficient data centres can be used for permanent setups or temporary needs. The “IT-ready” rental models allow fast deployment without large upfront costs, making them ideal for temporary IT hubs, laboratories, or other short-term uses.
