MCOMS has announced the integration of its HOTstream Cast Embedded platform with the newest LG Smart Hotel TVs that feature Google Cast™ technology. This partnership with Google and LG represents a major step forward in in-room entertainment. It removes the need for external devices and lets hotel guests stream their favorite shows and movies directly from their phone, tablet, or laptop to the TV safely and easily.
The new system will be demonstrated live at MCOMS’s booth #1800 during HITEC 2025. The demonstration will show how the HOTstream Cast Embedded platform improves the guest experience by offering a simple and secure way to stream content.

The solution does not require any external dongles or extra hardware. Guests just scan a QR code on their LG Hotel TV screen, securely connect their device, and start streaming their favorite content in seconds.
Built especially for hotels, HOTstream Cast Embedded is one of the first fully certified casting platforms integrated directly into LG Smart Hotel TVs. It gives hotels control over casting devices, lets staff monitor usage, and protects guests’ privacy using MCOMS’s patented media casting technology.
