Aggreko, a global leader in energy solutions, has announced the expansion of its Greener Upgrades portfolio to include advanced natural gas technologies. The company has introduced three new products: a 350 kW generator, a 1500 kW generator, and the 1500 kW Rapid Deploy model. These generators combine cutting-edge modular gas power technology with the environmentally-conscious principles of Aggreko’s Greener Upgrades initiative, which aims to help customers improve performance while meeting efficiency, cost, and emissions goals.
The new generators enhance Aggreko’s Greener Power Packages, offering a wide range of modular options designed to meet diverse power needs. These solutions can support everything from urban developments and commercial buildings to remote field operations. The 350 kW generator is particularly suited for rapid deployment at commercial and industrial sites. It features rich-burn combustion and is compatible with non-attainment zones. Meanwhile, the 1500 kW gas generators are Aggreko’s largest units to date, offering market-leading engine technology, robust design, and the ability to operate efficiently with various gas types. Despite their size, these generators meet stringent environmental performance standards, reflecting the core values of the Greener Power Packages. Additionally, the 1500 kW model is available as a fully mobile, trailer-mounted unit, maintaining the same efficiency, reliability, and fuel flexibility.

The three new generators join Aggreko’s existing range of natural gas products, which now spans from 210 kW to 1500 kW units, all available in both trailer-mounted and standalone configurations. Each gas option is supported by Aggreko’s Greener Power Packages, which offer additional benefits such as right-sizing, fuel management, emissions reduction, and fuel optimization. The packages also feature Remote Monitoring Services (ARM), allowing real-time data transmission directly from the equipment. This capability helps Aggreko anticipate and address potential issues more efficiently, with critical performance alarms triggering immediate contact from the company’s 24/7 Remote Operations Center, where technical specialists are ready to diagnose and resolve problems remotely, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
Beyond natural gas, Aggreko’s Greener Upgrades portfolio also includes a variety of low-emission generators, battery energy storage systems, and electrical distribution products, providing customers with comprehensive modular power solutions.
