Ads-Tec Energy plc, a global leader in battery storage and fast-charging systems, has expanded its international presence by establishing Ads-Tec Energy Austria GmbH. This new venture marks the company’s entry into the Austrian market, broadening its reach within the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and laying the foundation for enhanced customer support services across Central and Eastern Europe.
The company set up its sales and service operations in Austria in April 2025, specifically in Kötschach-Mauthen. This move strengthens Ads-Tec’s position in the GSA region and provides a more localized approach to customer support.
Shortly after its launch, Ads-Tec Energy Austria secured its first major contract. The company signed a framework agreement with an Austrian utility for three large-scale battery storage systems, each with a capacity of 5MWh. Additionally, Ads-Tec received an order for a fast-charging electric vehicle (EV) system tailored to the Austrian market. The first battery storage system is expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
Thomas Speidel, CEO and founder of Ads-Tec Energy, highlighted the significance of this expansion, stating, “Launching our Austrian operations is a key step in making our technologies more accessible to local customers. The early success we’ve seen proves there is strong demand for high-performance storage and charging solutions in the region.”

The company’s portfolio includes energy storage systems, fast-charging infrastructure, and intelligent system integration. Customers benefit from flexible business models and high-tech solutions tailored to local market needs.
