Xiaomi has launched its latest Mijia Washing Machine Pro Blue Oxygen 10kg series in China. The series includes two models: a standard front-load washer priced at 1899 yuan (about $262) and a washer-dryer combo priced at 2399 yuan (around $331). Both aim to deliver advanced fabric care, smart features, and energy efficiency in a compact build.
The washer-dryer combo offers a 10kg washing capacity and a 7kg drying capacity. It is powered by a Direct Drive (DD) inverter motor. This motor reduces noise and vibration while enhancing drum control and durability. The machine’s slim 542mm depth allows easy installation in modern cabinets and small spaces.
This model carries a Level 1 energy efficiency rating according to Chinese standards. It consumes up to 1800W during washing and 1500W during drying. The spin speed can reach 1200 RPM. Xiaomi says the machine removes more water during spinning, which shortens drying time and lowers energy use.
A large-diameter drum improves tumbling and reduces wrinkles in clothes. The washer supports smart low-temperature drying, with temperatures between 55°C and 65°C. Built-in sensors track water temperatures to protect delicate fabrics like wool, silk, and down jackets.
The machine offers 30 preset wash and dry programs. These include options for wool, silk, outdoor gear, sportswear, and quick wash cycles. Xiaomi has also added a special “Pet Hair Removal” program. This mode uses high-pressure water jets to remove up to 90% of pet hair from clothes.
Users can control the washer remotely through Xiaomi’s HyperOS Connect. It works with the Mi Home app and the Xiao Ai voice assistant. The machine features automatic detergent dosing, water level detection, humidity-based drying, and AI-powered wash recommendations.
For hygiene, the appliance uses dual sterilization with high-temperature steam and Blue Oxygen technology. Xiaomi claims this system kills 99.999% of bacteria, viruses, and mites. Additional features include a triple-layer noise and vibration control system, an antibacterial door gasket, and a 10-year motor warranty.
Earlier this month, Xiaomi introduced a premium washing machine model with dual drums, Blue Oxygen washing technology, AI-powered wash cycles, and HyperOS support.
