MSI has introduced an innovative gaming PC called the MEG Vision X AI at Computex 2025. The standout feature of this machine is a built-in 13-inch touchscreen on the front panel. MSI calls this screen an “AI Human Machine Interface” (HMI), which brings artificial intelligence directly into the PC’s design.
The Vision X AI can be customized with Intel’s latest Arrow Lake Core Ultra 200S processors, including the Ultra 9 285K and Ultra 7 265K models. For graphics, it offers options from MSI’s RTX 50 series GPUs, ranging from the RTX 5070 Ti to the powerful RTX 5090. The RTX 5090 can deliver up to 3,400 TFLOPS of FP4 performance. Meanwhile, the Arrow Lake processor includes a neural processing unit (NPU) with 13 TOPS of INT8 performance. MSI emphasizes that the system makes full use of this computing power. The Vision X AI was first shown at last year’s Computex and officially revealed at CES this year.
The AI HMI touchscreen adapts to user activity and adjusts the system’s performance accordingly. It normally displays PC stats such as CPU and GPU temperatures, clock speeds, and fan speeds. The screen also serves as a personal AI hub, supporting popular large language models like ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Meta, and Claude. It comes with a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing users to give voice commands to MSI’s app or Microsoft Copilot.
MSI also provides a local AI model that works without an internet connection. This allows users to chat or generate images directly on their PC. If users prefer, the 13-inch touchscreen can double as a secondary monitor for watching videos or streaming, although its bezels may be distracting.
Inside, the Vision X AI uses MSI’s Project Zero Z890 motherboard. This board hides cables behind it to create a cleaner look. Cooling is handled by a 360mm all-in-one liquid cooler and Glacier Armor heatsinks on the VRM and SSD, which MSI claims reduce temperatures by 25%. The system’s “Silent Storm Cooling AI” uses artificial intelligence to control fan speeds, maintaining efficient cooling with noise levels as low as 17.7 dB(A) in quiet mode.
For connectivity, the front panel offers one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, plus separate microphone and headphone jacks. The rear panel includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a 5Gb Ethernet port, S/PDIF, and two audio jacks. Power comes from a Gold Certified power supply unit (PSU) available in 850W or 1200W options. Wireless connections are provided via Intel Killer WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
The MSI Vision X AI is now available for purchase at select retailers. Prices range from $5,000 to $7,500 depending on the configuration. While the price may seem high, it could appeal to enthusiasts who want the latest RTX 5090 GPU, which is otherwise difficult and costly to buy separately.
