Kuka Digital, the newly launched business segment of Kuka, one of the world’s leading automation companies, has announced a strategic partnership with Noux Node, a Finnish software provider.
Noux Node specializes in advanced technologies that help industrial companies improve their IT and DevOps practices. These include tools for version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment of software. The company also supports the efficient use of both local and global IT infrastructure, particularly for applications driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.
Ossi Talvitie, founder and chairman of Noux Node, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, saying, “We are highly impressed by how quickly Kuka Digital has incorporated our tools into real-world customer cases. Their expertise in implementing our technology adds significant value to their projects and accelerates customer return on investment.”
Combining Expertise for Digitalisation
Quirin Görz, CEO of Kuka Digital, highlighted the potential of the collaboration, saying, “By combining Noux Node’s technology with our own extensive manufacturing experience, we can offer innovations that improve productivity, meet cybersecurity needs, and optimize global software architecture. This partnership will deliver end-to-end digital solutions for the world’s leading industrial companies.”
As part of the partnership, Noux Node’s software now complements Kuka Digital’s portfolio. The collaboration will allow joint customers to collect data and distribute software packages, including critical security updates, directly in production environments. The success of their joint solutions is expected to support both companies in reaching their global growth goals.
The partnership will be showcased for the first time at the Manufacturing Performance Days (MPD) in Tampere, Finland, on June 4-5. During the event, Kuka Digital and Noux Node will present their combined solutions and discuss the importance of AI-driven software architectures in the ongoing digital transformation of industry.
