Panasonic Smart Factory Solutions India (PSFSIN), a division of Panasonic Life Solutions India, has introduced new welding products to support India’s manufacturing sector. The new lineup includes the Welding Power Source (YD-400AT3DJU) and a Water Cooling Unit (YX-09KJ1DJF). Both products are made in India at Panasonic’s advanced manufacturing plant in Jhajjar, Haryana.
The Jhajjar Technopark facility is one of India’s largest producers of manual welding equipment. It supplies key industries such as automotive, infrastructure, oil and refinery, and heavy machinery.

The Welding Power Source, model YD-400AT3DJU, uses IGBT-controlled DC TIG technology. It offers excellent weld stability even at low currents, starting from 4 amps. The machine is built for precision and durability. It has a sealed chamber to protect against dust and water, ensuring it works well in tough conditions.
This power source can weld many metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, and copper alloys. It is ideal for demanding industries like petrochemicals, power generation, and pressure vessel manufacturing. The system also includes safety and control features such as arc force control, electric shock prevention, and remote operation capability. These features give professionals more flexibility and protection.
Alongside the power source, Panasonic launched a high-performance Water Cooling Unit. This unit prevents overheating during high-amperage welding. It is compact and lightweight, with safety features like a flow switch and overload protection. The cooling unit has a 9-litre tank, allowing for longer welding periods without interruption. It also operates quietly at 67 decibels, making it suitable for various industrial environments.
The cooling unit is easy to use and requires little maintenance. It has convenient features like simple water refilling and quick connectors. These make it easy for operators to keep welding for extended sessions.
