Advanced Engineering, the UK’s annual event for engineering and manufacturing, is solidifying its role as the leading show for the composites industry. This is thanks to ongoing support from Composites UK and other partners. Their collaboration keeps the event at the cutting edge of innovation. Visitors can look forward to new updates and exciting features.

In 2025, Composites UK will increase its involvement to make the show the most impactful yet. It will lead a redesigned Composites Forum. The forum will run for two full days and focus on important topics like sustainability, material circularity, and new product development. The goal is to strengthen the composites sector.

Composites UK will again host its Industry Awards Dinner. The event will take place on the evening of 29 October at the nearby National Motorcycle Museum, coinciding with the opening day of Advanced Engineering.

A new addition to the show will be the Composites Village. This dedicated area will highlight startups and smaller companies in the composites sector. It aims to help these emerging businesses gain visibility and connect with industry leaders.

Live demonstrations will continue throughout the event. Alan Harper Composites will lead several hands-on sessions. These will give visitors a closer look at the materials and techniques transforming the industry.

Simon Farnfield, event director at Easyfairs, which organizes Advanced Engineering, praised Composites UK’s role. He said their expertise helps create a strong programme focused on composites. Combined with recent changes to the show floor, this partnership makes Advanced Engineering the must-attend event for the whole composites supply chain.
