Servotech Renewable Power Systems, formerly known as Servotech Power Systems, has secured a contract for a 4.1 MW rooftop solar project from the Waltair Division of East Coast Railway in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The project is valued at ₹15.8 crore.
Under the terms of the agreement, Servotech will oversee the full implementation of rooftop on-grid solar PV systems at multiple locations within the division. The project will involve the design, production, delivery, installation, testing, and final commissioning of the solar systems. This initiative is part of Indian Railways’ ongoing effort to embrace clean energy and reduce its environmental impact, underscoring its commitment to sustainability in transportation.
