Roxtec Ltd, a leading manufacturer of cable and pipe seals, has announced the appointment of Jacob Barratt as its new Technical Sales Manager for the power and process industries. Based in Cardiff, Barratt will play a pivotal role in supporting the company’s regional growth strategy in central and south-west England. His focus will be on areas such as sub-stations, energy storage, power transmission and distribution, as well as onshore oil, gas, and chemical processing plants.
In his new role, Barratt will manage customer relationships, drive business development, and oversee on-site installations. His goal will be to ensure compliance with industry safety standards, contributing to Roxtec’s mission of protecting lives and assets. With a strong background in sales across various sectors, including retail and care home specifications, Barratt brings five years of experience to the company. His career includes roles as a store manager and technical sales representative, and his expertise caught the attention of Roxtec, leading to his recruitment.
