Camberley-based Bowers Group has expanded its Moore & Wright brand by launching a new range of advanced testing and inspection equipment. This follows two successful product launches earlier in 2024. The latest release includes high-precision tools such as microscopes, a videoscope, and other key measurement instruments.
Martin Hawkins, managing director of Bowers Group, said the new range shows the company’s ongoing commitment to improving the Moore & Wright brand. “We are always looking for new ways to evolve the Moore & Wright brand, and this latest range is a great example of that,” he said. “It is all about giving engineers and manufacturers the tools they need to work more accurately, efficiently, and with greater confidence.”
The new products are designed for accurate, non-destructive testing and inspection. They support a variety of tasks, including hardness testing and internal component checks. Among the new tools are ultrasonic hardness testers, which offer fast and non-destructive results. These testers come with manual or motorised probes, can measure in multiple scales, and support wireless data transfer.
Also included is a digital video microscope with real-time display and adjustable lighting for clear imaging. A Stereo Zoom microscope allows 3D magnification ranging from 6.7x to 45x, making it ideal for close-up inspection.
The expanded range features a flexible videoscope with a 360-degree articulated probe and a high-resolution camera. This tool is useful for inspecting tight or hard-to-reach areas. Another highlight is the Digital Dial Snap micrometer, which offers dual analogue and digital displays, IP54-rated protection, and data connectivity via USB or wireless.
Bowers Group says the new tools reflect the trusted quality of Moore & Wright and aim to provide engineers and manufacturers with the accuracy and reliability they need in their daily work.
