Orange EV, a U.S.-based manufacturer of electric heavy-duty trucks, announced that its vehicles are now in use by more than 300 fleets across the United States and Canada. The company called the milestone a major step in its mission to support commercial fleet electrification.
Orange EV offers what it calls a turnkey solution, which includes electric trucks, charging systems, and on-site service, all provided by a single vendor.
“Going electric doesn’t have to be hard,” said Zack Ruderman, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Orange EV. “What sets Orange EV apart is that we make it easy. Our all-in-one package removes the complexity that often delays electrification. We take care of the trucks, chargers, and service so our customers can focus on their main business.”
The company said its single-vendor approach helps customers avoid the challenges of dealing with multiple suppliers or handling system integration on their own. This setup allows fleets to speed up the transition to electric vehicles.
Electric Trucks Designed for Real-World Operations
Orange EV’s trucks are used in a range of settings, such as ports, warehouses, and manufacturing plants. According to the company, the electric trucks have logged over 21.5 million miles and more than 8 million hours in operation.
To support vehicle uptime and performance, Orange EV provides:
- Trucks specifically designed for electric operation
- Customized charging solutions tailored to fleet needs and budgets
- On-site maintenance and technical support teams
Customers can choose to buy, lease, or rent the vehicles. The company said these flexible options help businesses match their electrification plans with budget limits and operational goals.
