Anker Solix has introduced its newest portable power station, the F3000, designed to provide reliable backup power during outages and support high-energy demands at home or in the field.
The F3000 delivers 3,072 watt-hours (or 3 kWh) of power with a 3.6 kW output. This makes it strong enough to run most home appliances and portable devices.
Users can charge the F3000 in several ways. It supports standard solar and grid charging, but it also includes newer options like charging via electric vehicle (EV) chargers and gas generators. The gas generator setup offers full pass-through, allowing the power station to supply electricity to household devices while charging.
Anker says the unit can reach a full charge in about 80 minutes. The F3000 also comes with a sleep mode, which cuts down idle energy use. This feature can double the backup duration compared to typical portable stations and reduce standby power draw to just 24.4 watts when running low-demand items like fans or laptops.
For solar users, the F3000 includes dual input ports rated at 165 volts and 60 volts, supporting solar recharging up to 2.4 kW. This makes it compatible with most solar panels. The device uses a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery rated at 3.1 kWh and is built to last for up to 3,000 charging cycles, or about 10 years.
Homeowners needing more power can expand the system. The F3000 supports up to three extra battery packs, bringing total capacity to 12,288 Wh. According to Anker, one F3000 unit can power essential devices for half a day, and an expanded setup can last up to four days.
The F3000 joins Anker’s current lineup, sitting between the Solix F2000 (formerly PowerHouse 767) and the larger Solix F3800. To ease transportation of the 41.5 kg (91-pound) unit, Anker has designed it like a suitcase, with large wheels and an extendable handle.
