Banbury-based Laser Lines Ltd, a top UK reseller of 3D printers and materials, is partnering with US firm PostProcess Technologies to host a special event at the advanced facility of Milton Keynes-based 3D Portal. This event targets engineers, designers, and manufacturers, showcasing the latest industrial 3D printing and post-processing technologies designed for high-end automotive use.
The event will demonstrate how the production process can become more efficient, with improved workflow, high accuracy, and fine detail. This makes it ideal for creating high-performance parts. The technologies on display promise faster turnaround times, shorter lead times, and increased overall efficiency.
In industries like automotive and Formula One, where precision is critical, Laser Lines will present cutting-edge solutions. Using the Stratasys Neo800+ and Origin Two printers, combined with PostProcess Technologies’ advanced post-processing systems, they will highlight how prototyping can achieve production-level quality with unmatched speed and precision.
Focus on Post-Processing
The event will include talks by several experts, such as Ken Whild, UK lead at PostProcess Technologies, and Jonathan Heritage, senior applications engineer at Stratasys. It is free to attend and runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 19.
Attendees will start with a welcome coffee and live 3D printing demonstrations. This will be followed by presentations on 3D printing workflows and post-processing techniques. Delegates will also tour the facility and see demonstrations of PostProcess Technology’s DEMI 4100 and DEMI X 520 systems. The event concludes with a complimentary lunch and networking opportunity.
