Godrej & Boyce, the flagship company of the Godrej Group, has launched its latest product, the Edge Minicool, a portable personal air cooler. This new launch meets the growing need for compact and efficient cooling solutions as temperatures rise during the summer months.
The Edge Minicool is designed to be easy to move and use in any part of the home. It features a 37-litre water tank with a water level indicator and a built-in ice chamber for better cooling performance. The cooler also has a 12-inch, five-blade fan that ensures powerful air circulation. Additionally, the three-sided air suction system improves the airflow for more effective cooling.
Other features include collapsible louvres, anti-bacterial honeycomb cooling pads that keep the air fresh and odor-free, and protection against overheating for both the pump and fan motor. The unit is mounted on sturdy castor wheels with brakes, making it easy and safe to move from one room to another.
Kamal Nandi, Business Head and Executive Vice President of the Appliances Division at Godrej & Boyce, shared that the company is expanding its cooling products to meet the increasing demand from consumers. “With the Edge Minicool, we are strengthening our portfolio of compact and versatile cooling solutions. After seeing a twofold growth in FY 2024–25, we are targeting a 50% year-on-year growth in the air cooler segment,” Nandi said.
Manufactured in India, the Godrej Edge Minicool is available in two colours: wine red and dark grey. The product is priced at ₹10,490 and comes with a one-year comprehensive warranty. It is available at retail outlets across the country, with financing options including zero down payment and easy EMI plans.
