At RenewX 2025, Sunora marked a significant step in its growth by launching its first line of solar inverters. This move represents the company’s expansion beyond solar module manufacturing. The main focus of the launch was the SUN-10HL-G4, a 15kW three-phase grid-tied inverter, designed for commercial solar systems. It can handle a maximum DC input voltage of 1,000 volts and operates efficiently within an MPPT voltage range of 200 to 850 volts, ensuring optimal power extraction under various solar conditions.
The inverter is compact, weather-resistant, and features an IP66 rating. It measures 440 mm x 370 mm x 140 mm and weighs 16 kg. Sunora, traditionally known for its solar module production, currently operates with a 2 GW capacity. Its product range includes mono PERC glass-backsheet bifacial modules (520–550 Wp) and n-type TOPCon glass-glass bifacial modules (570–600 Wp). The company aims to increase its production capacity to 6 GW by the end of 2025.
Founded in 2016 in Surat, Gujarat, Sunora has become a leading name in India’s renewable energy sector. The company is the flagship of Unique Sun Power LLP and specializes in manufacturing high-efficiency solar PV modules, including mono PERC, bifacial, and N-type TOPCon technologies. These modules have power outputs ranging from 330 Wp to 600 Wp.
In addition to module production, Sunora provides end-to-end EPC services, which include design, installation, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects. Currently, Sunora has a manufacturing capacity of 2 GW and plans to expand it to 6 GW by the end of 2025. The company has also developed a 10 MW solar park in South Gujarat and is preparing a 50 MW project in Western Gujarat.
