The ongoing Delhi Machine Tools and Manufacturing Technology Expo at Bharat Mandapam is showcasing innovative products, with two devices drawing significant attention: a waterless cooler and an energy-saving machine.

The expo, being held at Hall Nos. 4, 5, and 6, features over 230 companies displaying their latest technologies. A standout exhibit in Hall 4 is the waterless cooler, which has quickly become a popular attraction. Priced at Rs 6,000, the cooler is available for Rs 5,500 at the event. This device not only eliminates the need for water but also promises to reduce electricity consumption by up to 40%.

A commercial version of the machine, designed for factory use, is priced between Rs 5,000 and Rs 10,000.

RD Chaudhary, a representative of the company that manufactures the energy-saving device, explained that it helps lower electricity bills. “If the device does not reduce electricity consumption, consumers can visit our Patel Nagar office to lodge a complaint,” Chaudhary said. He added that the device reduces electricity line loss and prevents supply interruptions, further cutting down on power consumption.

According to Mahesh MK, Joint Director of IMTMA Trade Fairs, the event aims to showcase cutting-edge technologies in metalworking machinery and equipment. Although attendance was low in the first few days, visitor numbers have surged since the announcement of a ceasefire between India and Pakistan on Saturday.
