LG has introduced a new, budget-friendly model to its CreateBoard line of large-format displays for education.
The new LG CreateBoard Core (TR3BQ) includes key interactive features like handwriting on a touch screen. It is designed to be more affordable and accessible for schools and educators.
LG expects this model’s versatility and lower price to boost its growth in important markets such as North America, Europe, and India.
The CreateBoard range also includes other models:
- The LG CreateBoard Pro, which has a powerful processor optimized for AI-related tasks.
- The LG CreateBoard Standard, which offers features like wireless screen sharing.
- The LG CreateBoard 105″, which has a wide 21:9 aspect ratio screen ideal for video lessons.
Teachers can connect their tablets to the CreateBoard displays. This lets them move freely in the classroom while teaching. They can also add web content and multimedia to lesson notes in real time. After class, teachers can share these materials with students with a simple button press.
The CreateBoard is certified under Google’s Enterprise Device Licensing Agreement (EDLA). This certification gives users direct access to many educational apps through the Google Play Store.
LG also supports the displays with its ConnectedCare remote device management system. This system allows real-time monitoring of multiple displays and helps address security or operational issues quickly.
Paik Ki-mun, head of LG’s information display business, said the CreateBoard lineup meets the needs of different educational environments. He added that LG aims to help educators create better learning experiences with smart, AI-driven technology. He also said LG wants to strengthen its position in the global education technology market.
LG will present the full CreateBoard portfolio at ISTE 2025. The event is the world’s largest education technology exhibition. It will be held in Texas from June 29 to July 2.
