Renalyx Health Systems Pvt. Ltd., a leading innovator in renal care technology, has launched India’s first fully indigenous, AI-driven smart hemodialysis machine—RENALYX-RxT 21. This machine, priced starting at INR 6.70 lakh, is significantly more affordable than imported dialysis machines. It features real-time remote monitoring and clinical connectivity, making dialysis treatment more accessible to a broader population, particularly in semi-urban and rural areas, where renal care is often scarce.
According to the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Program (PMNDP), India reports around 2.2 lakh new cases of End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) annually, leading to a demand for over 3.4 crore dialysis sessions each year.
Completely designed and manufactured in India, the RENALYX-RxT 21 uses advanced technologies, including a cloud-based telenephrology platform, to ensure high-quality care for kidney patients—especially those dealing with cardiovascular, pulmonary, and acute kidney injury-related issues.
This achievement makes Renalyx the sixth company globally and the first in India to produce a dialysis machine with the prestigious EU CE certification.
Looking ahead, Renalyx plans to invest INR 800 crore over the next four years to ramp up production capacity, aiming to manufacture 5,000 machines by FY25-26. Additionally, the company intends to expand capacity by producing 1,500 more machines by FY27-28 and will also focus on locally manufacturing dialysis consumables.
Renalyx operates manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru, Mysuru (Karnataka), and Mumbai (Maharashtra), supporting its plans to meet growing demand for affordable renal care solutions.
