Xiaomi has introduced its latest home appliance in China — the Mijia Washing Machine Pro Blue Oxygen Washing and Drying 12kg. This new model offers advanced features designed to improve cleaning performance, especially for tough stains.
One of the standout features is the Blue Oxygen function, which uses active oxygen (ozone) to boost stain removal and brighten fabrics. The washing machine also supports high-temperature steam cleaning. According to Xiaomi, it can remove up to 90% of pet hair, making it a strong choice for homes with animals.
As the name suggests, the machine has a 12 kg washing capacity and can dry up to 9 kg of laundry in one cycle. It comes with a clearing ratio of 1.2 and supports low-temperature smart drying to protect delicate fabrics.
Users can choose from 30 washing and drying cycles, including options for wool, silk, and down jackets. A 15-minute quick wash is also available. These settings can be controlled via the built-in touch panel, the Mijia app, or through Xiao AI voice commands. Thanks to HyperOS Connect, users can link the appliance to other smart home devices for seamless automation.
The washing machine features a dark gray finish and measures 598 x 850 x 610 mm (approximately 23.5 x 33.5 x 24 inches), making it compact enough for most homes.
The Mijia Washing Machine Pro Blue Oxygen 12kg is now on sale in China for CNY 2,999 (around $416 USD). While Xiaomi has not announced plans to release the product in Europe, the company already offers other smart home devices in the region, such as the Smart Plug 2, currently available on Amazon Germany for €16.55.
